1955 Penn Yan Captivator Aristocrat - Snake Mountain Boatworks

This super original 1955 Penn Yan Captivator Aristocrat is missing only her original upholstery. Everything else is original, including her 35 HP Evinrude Lark outboard.
While she presents nicely now, her finishes are neither original, nor show ready. We are excited to strip her exterior to bare wood and work towards the goal we share with her owner: being her absolutely show ready by next spring.
She has been sitting indoors for decades. While her outboard is very presentable, whether it runs or not awaits test running sometime soon.
Her hardware, which, save for one piece of hatch trim and possibly the barrel straps, is both original and is presentable. Jim McDonald and his crew at D&S Custom Metal Restoration will transform it into jewelry.
Her Striptite hullsides are tight and undamaged.
Her bottom and spray rails have so much of what looks like house paint
He upholstery, while useable, is at best gauche. We will do some research and then have all the seating properly upholstered.
